CHICAGO, Ill. -- Fairfield University junior forward Deng Gai continues to play impressively at the National Basketball Association (NBA) pre-draft camp. The camp is taking place at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.

Gai has played two games with team four, one of six teams which comprises the NBA pre-draft competition. The team owns a 1-1 record through the first two games, defeating team 3 (including Duke's Chris Duhon) by a 74-64 score. Gai came off the bench and played 20 minutes in the opening contest. He made two of six field goal attempts and grabbed one defensive rebound.

The forward picked up a start in game two, and played 23 minutes in a 106-91 loss to team 1 (including Providence's Ryan Gomes). His 23 minutes trailed only Ricky Minard (30 minutes) and Andre Barrett (29 minutes). Gai made one of six field goals, securedfour rebounds and one assist during his time.

Gai's teammates include Seton Hall's Andre Barrett, South Carolina's Rolando Howell, Morehead State's Ricky Minard, Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Dylan Page, Michigan's Bernard Robinson, Notre Dame's Tom Timmermans, St. Joseph's Delonte West and Western Michigan's Mike Williams.
