Men's Basketball

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield University fans received their first look at the 2006-07 editon of the Stags men's and women's basketball teams, as the two squads played a brief intrasquad scrimmage this evening. Each team was divided into two sides as played against each other for two 10-minute periods.

The evening also included several other events, including contests and giveaways. The event was attended by nearly 300 fans, as it was part of the school's annual Homecoming weekend. The next time Fairfield fans will get to see their team will come on November 1 in an exhibition doubleheader against the University of Bridgeport at the Arena at Harbor Yard.
