Fairfield, Conn. -- Both the men's and women's basketball teams will host exhibition games in early November, as the squads prepare for their season openers. The women will play their only exhibition game on November 5, as they host the New York Gazelles at 8:00 pm at Alumni Hall.
The men's team will host a pair of exhibition games this year, the first of which takes place on November 10 at 7:00 pm. The second game is slated for December 22 at noon. The games will be played at Alumni Hall. Fairfield will play the Mickey Walker All-Star team both dates.
The two teams begin their season in November, beginning on November 9 when the women's squad travels to UConn for the first round of the Pre-Season WNIT. The Stags debut at the Arena at Harbor Yard on November 16 against Boston College. The men's team, which opens the regular season on November 16 at Harvard University, plays its first home game at the Arena on November 27 against the University of Rhode Island.
