FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Individual game tickets for men's and women's basketball games will go on sale November 1. Fourteen home men's basketball games and 12 home women's basketball games are on the docket for this year's schedule, all of which will be at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport.
Fans can purchase tickets in person at the Arena box office, by phone by calling Ticketmaster at (203) 368-1000, or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Both teams open their 2002-03 season at home with a doubleheader. The women will host perennial powerhouse Penn State University at 7:00 pm, followed by the men's team battling Harvard University.
St. John's University will make its first-ever appearance at the Arena at Harbor Yard when the men's team hosts the Red Storm on November 30. Speaking of November 30, that's the first day of the Coca-Cola Charity Classic, a tournament which includes Georgetown University and Hofstra University. Plus, the Stags will play another challenging Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference schedule.
