FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Ed Cooley era will start in fine fashion this Friday night as the men's basketball game against American University at Alumni Hall is an official sell out. A capacity crowd of 2,479 fans will be on hand to watch the Stags play their 2006-07 season opener at 7 pm. The men's basketball game will mark the first contest played at Alumni Hall since the 2000-01 season.
Tickets are still available for the women's basketball season opener at Alumni Hall on November 11. The Stags will host the University of Richmond at 7 pm on Saturday night. Tickets for the women's game can be purchased at the Walsh Athletic Center ticket office (Room 226) as well as at the Alumni Hall box office prior to the game.
