Fairfield, Conn. -- Forward Jeremy Logan (Bronx, N.Y.) received the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week award after a solid start to his collegiate career. The rookie averaged 9.0 points and 4.3 rebound per game during the Stags three-game road trip, which took the team to sixth-ranked Kansas, UNLV and 12th-ranked UCLA.

Logan started his career in fine fashion by coming off the bench to score a team-high 17 points against Kansas. He made seven of 12 shots in that game in addition to grabbing five rebounds and five assists. Logan garnered his first varsity start against UNLV, tallying eight points against the Runnin' Rebels. He also started against UCLA, netting four points versus the Bruins.

Logan came to Fairfield after a successful stint at Milford Academy where he averaged 14 points per game. Before Milford Academy, Logan attended Salesian High School where he became the first Salesian player to collect the state tournament MVP award.

Fairfield returns to action on December 2 when it opens the conference portion of the schedule with a home game against Iona College. Game time is 7:00 PM.
