
Men's Golf Finishes Tied For Ninth At Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational.

The Fairfield University men’s golf team finished in a
ninth-place tie at the Mount St. Mary’s Spring Invitational,
with a three-round score of 911. The event was played at the
par-72 Quail Valley Golf Course in Littlestown, Pa.
Longwood University captured the team crown with a team-score
863. Army’s Matt Krembel won the individual crown by
six strokes, with a 206.
R.J. Zielinski shot a third-round 73 and moved up to spots, to
finish sixth at the event, with a three-day 216 (73-70-73).
Jeff Bradkey carded a 76 on Saturday, to finish in 30th place,
moving up eight slots in the final 18-holes of play, with a
228. William Onstott was part of the tie for 30th place,
putting up a 77 in the final round, moving up four spots.
Greg Cavanaugh shot an 84 in the third round, finishing with a
three-day 239, in a tie for 72nd place. Rob Tarallo was 87th
with a final score of 249, shooting an 88 on Saturday.
The Stags return to action next weekend at the Metro Atlantic
Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship, April 24-27 in
Orlando, Fla. Fairfield was one of five MAAC schools at this
weekend’s event, finishing ahead of Canisius (949) and
Manhattan (1023), and behind Rider (894) and Siena (908).
