The Fairfield University men's golf team dropped into seventh place after the second round of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship with two-day 651.

The Stags combined to shoot a 332 on Saturday, falling 15 shots behind sixth-place Canisius, which shot a 320. The Stags opened the tournament on Friday with a 319. Niagara University, which shot 325 in the first round shot a team round of 305 to jump from seventh into fifth place.

The three-day event finishes on Sunday at the Magnolia Golf Course in Orlando, Fla. The course is par-72 and played 6,852 yards on Saturday.
