Farmingdale, NY: Fairfield men's golfer James Turnesa shot back-to-back 75's to finish the St. John's Invitational at +10 good for a 26th overall finish this weekend. As a team, the Stags placed 15th.
Chris Bangert shot an opening round 80 then followed up with a 74 second to finish tied for 49th. Also competing for Fairfield were Tom Leaver who shot a two round total 162, Ryan Magner with a 171, and Rudy Pino with a 177.
The Stags return to action next weekend at the Toski Invitational to be held at the Hickory Ridge Golf Course in Amherst, MA.
