BREWSTER, Mass. - Fairfield University men's golfer Jonathan Vannelli (Philadelphia, Pa.) was one of seven student-athletes named to the NCAA Division I All-New England Team. It is the first post-season honor Vannelli has received in his collegiate career.
Vannelli led the Stags in each of their five fall tournaments and took medallist honors at Army's Mulekicker Fall Golf Classic on Oct. 3. The win was the first of the season for Vannelli and the third of his collegiate career as he won both the Peacock Invitational and the New England Championship as a freshman.
The Fairfield men's golf team will return to action in the spring.
