The midfielder scored his first collegiate goal in his fifth start, a 3-1 victory over Adelphi University. His next four goals were game winners, including back-to-back road contests against Yale University and Iona College. He netted three deciding goals in MAAC play last year - Iona, Saint Peter's College, and Rider University. His final goal of 2006 put the Stags in front against the University of Connecticut in the first round of the NCAA tournament. It marked the first NCAA tournament goals in school history. For his efforts, the freshman earned a spot on the MAAC All-Rookie team. He was selected Fairfield University's Male Freshman of the Year by vote of the athletic program's 19 head coaches.

Before Fairfield:  Uy was a starting forward at Kellenberg Memorial High School for the past four seasons. He enjoyed his best campaign during his senior season, registering 25 goals and 15 assists for 65 total points. The forward was among the team's leading scorers throughout his four seasons, which helped him record 63 goals and 40 assists. His teammates named him most valuable player during his freshman, junior, and senior seasons. Uy earned All-League, All-Conference, and All-State honors in his last two years at Kellenberg Memorial, and added the league's most valuable player award in 2005. He served his teammates as captain during his junior and senior years. Uy plans to study business at Fairfield University.
