2006 Season: Lentine built upon his success as a rookie with another outstanding year as a midfielder. He tallied three assists during the year, tying his freshman assist total. He registered two assists in a 3-1 win over Siena College, and added an assist on the game-winning goal against the University of Connecticut in the NCAA tournament first round. Lentine played in all 22 games as a sophomore, and garnered 16 starts. The midfielder gained the starting nod in the team's four post-season games. The Stags owned a 12-3-1 mark in his 16 starts, which included a 6-1 in MAAC regular-season play. He capped his sophomore campaign with a berth to the MAAC All-Academic team.
2005 Season: Lentine worked his way into the starting lineup in his first game as a collegiate, a role which became regular for the rookie. He went on to start 12 of his 17 appearances, which included six conference games. He was not in the starting lineup for the conference opener against Iona nor the conference regular-season finale against Siena, but started the six games in between those two outings. He scored his first collegiate points in a victory against Rider. Lentine posted three assists in the team's win over Canisius, which set up half of the Stags' goals in the 6-0 victory. He was one of three Fairfield freshmen to start more than 10 games in 2005.
Before Fairfield: Letine enjoyed a great deal of success as a midfielder for the Penfield High School. He played both right and center midfield as a freshman, but settled on center midfield for his final three seasons. During his four years, the Patriots posted a 57-5-7 record and captured three New York State Class AA championships (2001, 2002, 2004). As a senior, Letine served his teammates as captain, and was one of the team's top offensive players with 11 goals and eight assists. He left Penfield High School with 37 goals and 40 assists for 114 total points. His play on the field was recognized by his teammates and peers, which helped the midfielder garner All-Greater Rochester honors, as well as four All-County team berths. Lentine lists business as his major.
