2006 Season: Kelly earned entry into five games a year ago, three of which were non-conference contests (Pittsburgh, Cornell, Adelphi). The Stags won all five games in which Kelly played, including his one start (2-1 win over Cornell). His role was usually as a reserve, bolstering the team's defensive efforts late in the game.  He earned a spot on the MAAC All-Academic team, his first appearance on the squad. Kelly will continue look to earn more playing time this season, most likely as a reserve in the defensive third of the pitch.

2005 Season: Kelly made his Fairfield debut in the team's 1-1 draw against Dartmouth in early September. He went on to play in six more games, all as a reserve. The defender usually entered the game late in the game to help the Stags protect the lead. His last five outings came against conference opponents, including an appearance against Niagara in the MAAC tournament semi-finals. He also saw time against MAAC foes Manhattan, Rider, Loyola, and Canisius. Four of his seven appearances came at home. He will remain in the mix for playing time in the back.

2004 Season: Kelly spent the 2004 season with the men's soccer program, but did not appear in any games.

Before Fairfield: Kelly played soccer at many different levels before enrolling at Fairfield University. He played four campaigns with Holy Ghost Prep, with his senior season ending with All-Conference, All-Pennsylvania, and Regional All-America honors. On the club level, Kelly spent the last three years with Westchester United, and helped the team excel in several 2003 tournaments. He was selected to the 2003 Olympic Development Pool Region 1 team, which competed in Binghamton, N.Y. Kelly has not declared an academic major at Fairfield University.
