Pat Wiseman begins his fourth season as an assistant coach after playing his collegiate career and serving as the graduate assistant coach for the Stags.
Wiseman enjoyed a successful career at Fairfield University,
where he played as a left back. During his career, the
defender helped the Stags capture the 1999 MAAC Championship,
leading to the program's first ever berth in the initial round of
the NCAA Tournament. In 2000, the Stags attained the school's
highest NSCAA national ranking. During that span, Wiseman
helped guide the Stags to one of the country's longest undefeated
streaks and best defensive goals against averages.
Before his arrival in Connecticut, the Milwaukee native
captained the Mequon Soccer Club and later FC Milwaukee to a
combined 6 state titles. The 1997 Area High School Player of
the Year spent 6 years with the Wisconsin Olympic Development
Program; and was a member of the ODP Midwest Regional Team.
In 1998, Wiseman was an invitee to the USA Inter-Regional Trials at
the Olympic Training Center in California. After his youth
career, Wiseman spent a year and made several appearances for the
Milwaukee Wave reserves of the M.I.S.L.
In addition to his coaching post with the Stags, Wiseman has
been the head coach of several premier boys' teams in Fairfield
County. He is currently a collegiate camp coach at premier
camps across New England, and he is the Asst. Director of the
Planet Soccer and Elite Academy camps at Fairfield
University. Wiseman has an NSCAA Advanced National license.
He earned an MBA in International Business from Fairfield
University's Dolan School of Business.
