Three Stags Named ITA Scholar-Athletes

Three Stags were named 2007 ITA Scholar-Athletes last month. Current senior Balazs Szikla (Budapest, Hungary), sophomore Bob Kelly (Queensbury, N.Y.), and graduated senior Zachary Morrison (Los Angeles, Calif.) each garnered scholar-athlete status for the men.

It was the third consecutive ITA Scholar-Athlete honor for Szikla and the second for Morrison.

Morrison and Szikla were also named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria be  varsity letterwinner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) and have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters.
