
Stags Open Cal-Poly Holiday Beach Classic Friday With 2 p.m. PST Contest With Host Mustangs

The Fairfield University women's basketball team will put its 3-0 record on the line on Friday in the first game (game notes) of the Cal-Poly Holiday Beach Classic, taking on the host Mustangs at 2 p.m. pacific time. The Mustangs are 2-2 on the year.
Fairfield is coming off a 64-49 win over Harvard on Tuesday; a game in which the Stags allowed just 12 points in the final 11 minutes of play. The Stags are now 2-0 in road games this season, and are 3-0 for just the second time in the program's Division I history.
