FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fans who purchase a ticket and attend the November 2 exhibition basketball doubleheader between Fairfield University and the University of Bridgeport at the Arena at Harbor Yard will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship first and second rounds. Fairfield University will host the event at the Arena at Harbor Yard on March 23 and 25.

            Tickets for the 2008 first and second rounds will not go on sale to the public until November 5, giving fans at Friday's doubleheader a unique opportunity to purchase seats before the general sale next week.  All session passes are $58 and include two sessions on Sunday, March 23 and one session on March 25. Game times will be determined by the NCAA at a later date.

            Fans will fill out a ticket purchase form and pay for the tickets on Friday night. Tickets will be mailed out to purchasers in March, 2008.

            Bridgeport and Fairfield will meet for two games on Friday night with the women's teams meeting at 6 pm and the men's teams playing at 8 pm. For further information, please call the Arena at Harbor Yard box office at (203) 345-4904.
