EDISON, N.J. -- Five Fairfield University rowers received recognition for their achievement in the classroom, as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced its annual All-Academic team. The team was announced as part of the 2007 MAAC championships at Mercer Lake in Lawrenceville, N.J.

Sophomore Jessica Braveman (Arlington, Mass.) earned a berth as a nursing major. Sophomore Mary Crowley (Skaneateles, N.Y.) secured her first spot on the team as a marketing major. Sophomore Christina DiCioccio (Stonington, Conn.) collected All-Academic accolades as a marketing major. Sophomores Mallory Reimers (Florham Park, N.J.) and Samantha Rosen (Norwell, Mass.) rounded out the quintet as nursing majors.

The Fairfield University rowing team, under head coach Andre Albert, finished fourth at the 2007 MAAC championships.
