2006 Season:  DiDonato contributed as a reserve midfielder throughout the season, gaining entry to 10 games with three starts. She picked up a start for three conference road games, namely Monmouth, Quinnipiac, and Robert Morris. DiDonato played in four of the final five games of the season. She made her varsity debut against Maine, the team's third game of the season. She made the most of her offensive opportunities, taking two shots and scoring one goal. DiDonato netted the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Sacred Heart, coming off the bench to score the deciding goal in the second overtime. DiDonato garnered a spot on the NFHCA National Academic Squad.

Before Fairfield:  DiDonato came to Fairfield after earning All-Ohio honors as a midfielder. At Upper Arlington High School, she received the varsity field hockey most valuable player as a sophomore, junior, and senior. DiDonato captured All-League first team honors three times, and second team accolades once. She played in the National Futures tournament and qualified for the Futures Elite. Off the field, DiDonato was named an Academic All-American as well as to the National Honor Society.
