2006 Season: Hicks started all but one of her 19 appearances in 2006, missing out against UMBC on September 8. She tallied a career-high eight points during the campaign, which surpassed the five points she scored in her first two seasons (two goals, one assist). Her point total was third best among her teammates. She tallied a goal in two of the last three games, finding the back of the cage against St. Francis, Pa. and Robert Morris. Her four assists came against Maine, UMass, Rider, and Sacred Heart. She split her point total between home and away games, recording a goal and two assists for both venues. Hicks was one of seven players to have at least 18 starts during the year.
2005 Season: Hicks emerged as one of the team's top defensive players, which helped her garner 18 starts in her 19 appearances. Her lone appearance as a reserve came against Sacred Heart University at home. Hicks netted one goal and one assist for three total points during the 2005 season, which raised her career total to five points. Last season, the defender netted a goal at Saint Francis (Pa.) in the Stags 4-3 win. Earlier in the campaign, Hicks dished off an assist in a 5-0 win against Robert Morris. Fairfield has won all three games in which she has scored during her career, including a game-winner against Siena in 2004.
2004 Season: Hicks was a starter for most of the 2004 season, coming off the bench just three times for UMass, St. Joseph's, and Maine. She started her last 16 appearances, including the last eleven outings. Hicks came to Fairfield as a forward, but spent most of her time on the defensive side of the field. She tallied one goal in 2004, securing a goal in the team's 3-1 win over Siena College. She was on the field for all five of the team's shutouts, four of which came as a starting defender.
Before Fairfield: Hicks played field hockey at Woodside High School, where she tallied 10 goals and five assists during the 2001 campaign, and 13 goals and five assists one year later. She played Futures Elite in 2003. During the 2002 campaign, Hicks secured the Offensive Player of the Year award from Woodside. She was a gold medalist at the AAU Junior Olympics in 2002, the same season she played National Futures. She earned All-District second team honors as well as a spot on the Daily Press All-Star squad. Hicks also excelled as a cross country and track and field participant. She qualified for regionals with the pole vault, and for district in cross country. Off the field, Hicks is a National Honor Society student, and is listed in Who's Who In American High School Students for 2003. Hicks is a Dean's Scholar, and lists nursing as her major.
