Field Hockey

 Before Fairfield: With her experience both at the local and national levels, Porrino could make a bid for playing time this season. She was a starter at Chatham High School for three seasons. Porrino was the only freshman to make the Chatham varsity team. She was the team's leading scorer as a junior, setting team-bests for goals and assists. She earned All-County, All-Area, and All-Conference accolades throughout her career at Chatham. In 2005 and 2006, Porrino attended the U.S. Field Hockey Festival in California, as well as the Disney Field Hockey Showcase in Florida. Plus, Porrino participated in the U.S. Field Hockey Association Festival and Futures program. Off the field, Porrino worked with seventh and eighth graders as a travel team coach and official for the Chatham Board of Recreation Field Hockey program.
