2006 Season: Thomas handled most of the goaltending duties in 2006, collecting 1,247 of the team's 1400 minutes played. The goaltender yielded one goal or less in eight of her 19 games played, which included a shutout against UMBC (three saves). Thomas made 10 or more saves in six games, highlighted by a season-high 15 saves in a 2-1 win against Sacred Heart. She picked up a dozen saves against Maine, Columbia, and Brown. Thomas owned a .759 save percentage and a 2.26 goals against average, in addition to her 126 saves (6.6 saves per game). Thomas capped her season with a berth to the NFHCA National Academic Squad.
2005 Season: Thomas split time in the goal last season, making her mark in 12 games during 2005. She earned nine starts, came off the bench in two games, and came into the Saint Joseph's game during the overtime period. Thomas allowed one goal or less in six of her 12 nods, which helped her post a 2.37 goals against average. She also tallied an impressive .711 save percentage. Thomas started and completed four of the final six games, which included a 3-1 win over Siena College. She registered nine saves in the Northeast Conference semi-final game against Rider, which tied her season-high of nine stops at Drexel.
2004 Season: Thomas made a quick impression on her teammates, making eight saves and turning away three shots in the penalty stroke round of a 1-0 win over UMass. For her efforts, the Massachusetts native received the NEC Player of the Week. She started 11 of her 14 appearances, including her first 10 in a Fairfield uniform. She also posted a shutout in the 1-0 win over Monmouth on September 26. Thomas combined for shutouts with Lauren Callahan against Robert Morris and St. Francis. The goaltender posted five or more saves in six games, including a season-high eight against UMass and Quinnipiac. She finished the season with 794 minutes played, making 57 saves for a .722 save percentage and a 1.94 goals against average.
Before Fairfield: Thomas performed admirably at Leominster High School as a goaltender. During her career, Thomas allowed less than one goal per game, posting a 0.89 goals against average in 43.5 games (39 goals allowed). She tallied 478 saves for a .924 save percentage. For her efforts, Thomas earned the team's most valuable player award both as a junior and as a senior. She twice earned a spot on both the Mid-Wach A League all-star team as well as the Sentinel & Enterprise all-star squad. As captain, Thomas helped the Leominster High School to the Mid-Wach A League championship in her senior year. The goaltender participated in Futures in 2003. Thomas was also a member of the Leominster softball team. She is a member of the National Honor Society, and is a Fairfield University Presidential Scholarship Recipient. She is studying international business at Fairfield University.
