This time, 14th-ranked Boston University tallied twice in the second half to pull away with a 4-1 win at University Field.

Boston University broke the tie when Holly Wiles scored on a direct shot off a penalty corner from Hayley Hamada and Pam Spuehler with under seven minutes remaining in the half. Thomas made nine saves in the opening 35 minutes to keep the Stags in the game. She finsihed the day with 14 saves.
Shute took over the game in the second half with a pair of unassisted goals just five minutes apart, the first coming at the 23:58 mark. She made the score 4-1 with her third goal in the 62nd minute of play.
The Stags return to action on Sunday when they travel to 16th-ranked University at Albany. The game is schedule for a 3 pm start.
