Stags End Two-Game Road With Split After 4-1 Setback To Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Amy Hosking scored Fairfield's only goal in a 4-1 loss to Lock Haven on the road, giving the Stags a 1-1 record on their two-game weekend road trip. The Stags were outshot by a 19-2 count in the game, and 13-0 in the first half.

Lock Haven scored the first four goals of the game, beginning with Sam Stoier's goal off an assist from Suzann Hobart. The home team scored the next two goals off unassisted plays, as Hobart and Blair Wynne both tallied goals to make the score 3-0. Alana Lewis finished off the scoring for Lock Haven, which allowed the team to raise its lead to 4-0.

Fairfield came through with its only goal off a penalty corner as Hosking finished off a goal set up by Emily Janis. Senior goalkeeper Liz Thomas made five saves in the game.
