Fairfield University golfer Alicia Esposito shot a three-day 237 to finish in a tie for fourth place at the 2007 Connecticut Women’s Amateur.  The event was played at the par-72 Lyman Orchard Golf Course, August 13-15.

Earlier this summer Esposito showed well at the 51st NEWGA Championship at the Hickory Ridge Country Club in Amherst, Mass.  The Stag sophomore to be finished tied for 36th, with a three-day 248.  She shot a second round 79 to highlight her effort during the July 9-11 tournament.

As a freshman, Esposito helped the Stags to a second place finish at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Tournament.  She placed sixth, the Stags second highest finisher, with a three-day 254.  She carded a second round 79, for her best single-round effort of the weekend.
