The Fairfield University women’s golf team finished in fourth place at the Mount St. Mary’s Fall Invitational.  The Stags shot a two day 685 at the par-72 Quail Run Golf Course, shooting 344-341.

Kristen MacDonald led the Stags effort with a ninth place finish, shooting identical rounds of 84 for a two-day 168, +24.  Annie Sperandio shot 85-86 for a two-day 171, +27, good for 12th place, while Christina Destefano shot 85-87, 171, +28, for a 15th place finish.

Alicia Esposito shot a first round 90, but shot a second round team-best 84, to move into 19th place, with a two-day 174, +30.  Claire Rothschild also saw a second round improvement, shooting an 89, eight stroke better than her opening round score, finishing 25th with a 186, +42.

St. Francis (PA) won the team title with a two-day 662, and were led by the individual champion, Samantha Milosh, who shot a 156, +12.

The Stags will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule Oct. 28-29 at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic.
