
Fall Campaign Ends With Fourth Place Finish At Mt. St. Mary's Fall Classic

The Fairfield University women’s golf team finished in
fourth place at the Mount St. Mary’s Fall
Invitational. The Stags shot a two day 685 at the par-72
Quail Run Golf Course, shooting 344-341.
Kristen
MacDonald led the Stags effort with a ninth place
finish, shooting identical rounds of 84 for a two-day 168,
+24. Annie
Sperandio shot 85-86 for a two-day 171, +27, good for
12th place, while Christina
Destefano shot 85-87, 171, +28, for a 15th place
finish.
Alicia
Esposito shot a first round 90, but shot a second
round team-best 84, to move into 19th place, with a two-day 174,
+30. Claire
Rothschild also saw a second round improvement,
shooting an 89, eight stroke better than her opening round score,
finishing 25th with a 186, +42.
St. Francis (PA) won the team title with a two-day 662, and were
led by the individual champion, Samantha Milosh, who shot a 156,
+12.
The Stags will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule Oct. 28-29 at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic.
