The Fairfield University women’s golf team saw inclement weather washout its attempt to play the 2008 Fairfield Spring Invitational at Crown Park Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

After rain completely washed out the first day of the event, the teams took the course on Saturday.  However, the weather caused a late start, and the squads were not able to complete the round before darkness fell.

The Stags will play next on April 13-14 at the Hartford Invitational.
