Women's Golf

Len Roberto has been a part of Fairfield University golf since taking over as head coach of the men’s program for the 1998-99 season.  Prior to the 2005-06 campaign, Roberto was named the head coach for the women’s program as well, uniting the teams under the same coaching umbrella.  He was named the 2004 MAAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year after leading the Stags to a fourth-place finish at the MAAC Championships.

He brings with him a strong golf background and a solid knowledge of the game.  Coach Roberto spent time as a caddie on the Senior Tour in the summer of 1991.  

In addition to his position at Fairfield, Len is also employed by the Golf Center of Connecticut as a golf instructor.  He has spent time at Whitney Golf Farms Golf Club in Monroe, Conn., and has held several management positions at golf stores in Fairfield County.  He is working on a full PGA membership and is currently an apprentice in the PGA PGM Program.
