RESTON, Va. - The Fairfield University women's golf team placed 14th at this weekend's Hoya Women's Invitational hosted by Georgetown University at the Reston Golf Club. Sophomore Jill Macari led the Stags with scores of 87 and 90, placing her in a tie for 52nd place.
Also posting scores for Fairfield were senior Beth Costello and sophomore Jessica Doyle who each shot a combined 187, freshman Lindsey Ryan who shot 192, and Margot Smith who scored a 203.
The Stags are back in action on April 7 and 8 when they compete in the Hofstra Invitational at the Harbor Links Golf Club located in Port Washington, NY.
