The Fairfield University women's golf team shot a second-day 380 to finish in second place as a team at the Hofstra Spring Invite.
The Stags held a two-stroke advantage after the first round, shooting 346. Host Hofstra shot a round of 351 on the second day to pull ahead for a the win, with a two-day total of 699. Central Connecticut State was third with a 784.
Courtney Richardson shot 85-90 for a two-day total of 175, placing in fourth place. Krista Duval shot a two-day 180 (86-94) to finish in sixht, with a 180.
Lynze Murphy finished in a two-way tie for ninth place, shooting 85-101 (186). Lindsey Ryan shot 90-97 (187) for the two days, for an 11th place finish, and Amy Bordonaro shot 93-99 (192) to place 14th.
The event was played at Harbor Links Golf Course, Par-72, playing 5,991 yards.
The Stags are back in action on April 10-11 when they travel to the Hartford Invitational in Hartford, Conn.
