OSTERVILLE, Mass. - The Fairfield University women's golf team finished play, in 10th place at the Lady Eagle Invitational over the weekend.
The field, which included the host Boston College, along with Brown University, Central Connecticut State, Harvard, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Hartford, Amherst, Boston University, Bryant, Mt. Holyoke, Wellesley, and Babson, took place at the Oyster-Harbors Golf Club.
Jessica Doyle shot a team low 194 over the two-day event with a 194, including a 93 on Sunday afternoon. She shot a 101 on Saturday.
Beth Costello was consistent with a 99 on Saturday, and a 97 on Sunday. Allison Schick shot an 86 on Sunday to go along with a 94 the day before.
Colleen Travers shot a 97 on Saturday and a 105 on Sunday. Trish Tolerico recorded a 94 and 103 over the two-day event.
Fairfield returns to action on the weekend of April 14-15, to take part in the WellesleyInn Invitational hosted by the University of Hartford, at the Wampanoag Country Club, in West Hartford, Conn.
