The Fairfield University women's golf team completed competition at the Hartford Women's Invitational on Tuesday, placing 11th as a team. The Stags shot a first round 367 and followed that with a 388 on Tuesday, for a two-day total of 755. The event is being contested at Wampanoag Country Club, par-73 and 5,817 yard in the second round.

Courtney Richardson shot a second-round 92, finishing with a two-day 175, good for a tie for 26th place. Lindsey Ryan shot 89-98 (187) to finish in a 41st place tie. Krista Duval shot a 98 as well on Tuesday, finishing the event at 195, good for 49th. Amy Bordonaro shot 98-100 (198) for 50th, while Lynze Murphy shot 104-105 (209) to place 59th.

St. John's University won the event with a two-day 640 team total. Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foe Siena College placed seventh at the event, shooting a two-day 713.

The Stags will travel to Massachusetts this weekend for a pair of tournaments. Fairfield will play at the Mass State Invite on Friday, before participating in the Amherst Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
