The Fairfield University women's golf team finished in sixth-place at the Jack Leaman Women's Championship, hosted by Amherst College. The Stags shot a team-total 365, behind winner Middlebury College, 338.
Courtney Richardson led the Stags effort, tying for seventh place. She shot 42-43 for an 85. Lindsey Ryan and Amy Bordonaro tied for 36th in the one-day event, both shooting 93. Lynze Murphy tied for 40th with a 94 and Krista Duval shot a 105 to tie for 59th.
The Stags now turn their attention to the MAAC Tournament, this coming weekend, in Orlando, Fla., at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex.
