The Fairfield University women's golf team finished the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Tournament on Sunday, placing second with a three-day score of 1,029. The event was played at the Magnolia Golf Course at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., which played par-72 and 5,924 yards.
Courtney Richardson was the Stags top finisher, shooting an 82 on Sunday, to finish with a three-day 246, good for fourth place. Alicia Esposito carded an 85 on Sunday, good enough to move her to sixth place, with a 254. Liz McCabe finished one stroke and one position back of her teammate with a tournament 255, shooting 84 on Sunday.
Krista Duval placed eighth in the event, with a three-day 283. Duval carded a 94 in the third round. Lynze Murphy rounded out the Stags effort, shooting a 99 on Sunday, and finishing ninth with a 287 over the course of the event.
Siena captured the crown with a three-day 976.
