Fairfield, Conn: The Fairfield University women's golfers shot a combined team score of 363 placing them second in yesterday's tri-match with Siena College and Hofstra University at the Patterson Country Club. Siena would take first place honors with a team score of 345, while Hofstra placed third with a 407. Allison Schick paced the Stags with a low score of 85.

Schick, a sophomore from North Kingstown, RI opened with a front nine 44 then dropped three strokes to shoot a back nine 41. Classmate Jill Macari was the Stags' next best finisher with a score of 91. She was followed by Colleen Travers who shot 93, Lindsay Browder who shot 94, and Beth Costello who shot a 101.

Team scores were derived by taking the best four scores for each team of five golfers. Siena's Bridgette Palin took low score for the afternoon with an impressive round of 78.

The Stags will be off until the weekend of October 25 through 27 when they travel to compete in the Georgetown Invitational held at the Reston National Golf Club in Reston, VA.
