LEWISBURG, Pa. - Senior Allie Schick (North Kingstown, R.I.) turned in rounds of 83 and 82 to take a 16th place finish en-route to leading the Fairfield women's golf team to a 12th place finish at the Bucknell Fall Classic this weekend. The 17-team tournament was played on the 5,845-yard, par-71 Bucknell Golf Course.
St. John's University won the event with a team total 621 (+53) while St. Francis (Pa.) and Harvard rounded out the top-three with two-day totals of 648 (+80) and 649 (+81), respectively. The Stags finished five-strokes out of the top-10 by carding a team total of 700 (+132). Harvard's Katie Loncke took medallist honors with a +9 performance of 151.
Junior Jessica Doyle (Milton, Mass.) tied for 39th overall with a 173 (+31) while sophomore Liz McCabe (Wellesley, Mass.) finished four-strokes back, tying for 50th place overall with a 177. Senior Jill Macari (Reading, Mass.) rounded out the scoring for the Stags with a 185 (+43) while junior Lindsey Ryan (Berlin, Conn.) turned in rounds of 94 and 101.
This was the final fall event for Fairfield.
