Staten Island, NY: The Fairfield University women's golf team shot a combined team score of 416 placing them third at a match hosted by Wagner University at Richmond, Country Club. Also competing in the match was Long Island University who won the score with a 375 team total, Wagner who placed second with 380 and Sacred Heart who placed fourth with 507.
Sophomore Jessica Doyle led the Stags with a score of 95. She was followed by Julie McLoughlin who shot a 105, Lindsey Ryan who shot a 106, Meghan Donahue who shot 110 and Colleen Travers who shot a 112. The team score was derived by taking the best four scores from each team.
This event concluded the Stags 2002 Fall schedule. Fairfield will be back in action this spring.
