Fairfield University head men's and women's golf coach Len Roberto announced the Spring 2007 schedule for the Stags today.

The spring season culminates for both teams, April 26-29 at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., with the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships.

The women's team begins its schedule March 12-13 at the Hilton Head Island Tri Match, competing against Long Island University and California (Pa.) University. That following weekend the Stags host the annual Fairfield Spring Invitational. The two-day event, March 16-17, will be played at the Crown Park Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Stags will play at the Columbia University Invitational, April 6-7, at the Hampshire Country Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y., before playing at the Hartford Invitational, April 16-17, at Rockledge Golf Course. The team's final regular season contest is April 21-22 at the Amherst Invitational.

The men's team will play an equally challenging spring schedule, kicking off with the Pizza Hut Bell South Intercollegiate, February 24-26, at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Course in Mississippi. The Stags begin their spring break competition March 12-13 at the Lonnie Barton Memorial, played at the Oldfield Golf Course in Hilton Head, S.C. The men will also host a Fairfield Spring Invitational March 16-17 at Crown Park. The Stags will play their first spring championship, April 14-15 at the New England Division I Championship, played at the Triggs Memorial Golf Course, in Providence, R.I.
