The Fairfield University women's lacrosse team dropped a 19-7 decision to Boston College on Saturday. The Stags are now 0-3 on the year and the Eagles improve to 1-1.
Fairfield jumped out to an early lead 4-1 lead, but the Eagles responded to take a 7-5 lead at the intermission. The Eagles exploded in the second half, tallying 12 goals, to the Stags two, for the final margin.
Amy Neville and Rebecca White each scored two goals for the Stags. Nina Tedeschi, Kim Fuchs, Ashley Jenkins each also tallied one goal for the Stags.
Lauren Chatnik played 58 minutes, making four saves, while allowing 19 goals. Jessica Parnell saw her first action of the season, playing the final two minutes, without facing a shot.
