Fairfield enters the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Lacrosse League Tournament with a 7-9 overall mark and 5-2 in league play. The third-seed, the Stags will take on the second-seed, Canisius College, in the second semifinal. The Griffs are 11-6 overall and 6-1 in league play. The first semifinal will pit the top-seed, LeMoyne College, 13-3 overall and 7-0 in the MAAC, against the fourth-seed, Manhattan College 7-8 on the year and 4-3 in league action. The first semifinal is Friday at 1 p.m. The Championship Game will be played on Sunday, at noon, between the semifinal winners.
The Stags contest with the Griffs will begin 45 minutes following the conclusion of the first semifinal, between the Dolphins and Jaspers.
