
Nine Stags Named To MAAC All-Academic Team

The Fairfield University women’s soccer team had nine
student-athletes named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
(MAAC) All-Academic Team that was announced at the pre-tournament
banquet on Thursday night.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete
must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a
cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
The Stags that were honored are: Whitney
Bernabie, Adrienne
Boyer, Janna
Breitenwischer, Alex Caram, MT Church,
Jen
DeBrincat, Casey
Frobey, Ahna
Johnson, and Amanda
Vargo.
For the Breitenwicher, Church and Vargo, all seniors, it was their
third selection to the All-Academic Team. Caram, also a
senior, as well as juniors DeBrincat and Johnson, the selection is
their second. Sophomores Bernabie, Boyer and Frobey earned
the honor for the first time.
The Stags finished the 2007 season with an 11-7-3 overall record
and second in the MAAC with a conference mark of 6-1-2.
