The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced its postseason awards on Saturday evening at the annual tournament banquet held at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  The Fairfield University women's soccer team had 14 players receive recognition for their efforts on the field and in the classroom.

Headlining the Stags honorees were sophomores, Spenser Allaway, Jasmin Corniel and Alyssa Decker, all First-Team All-MAAC honorees.  Allaway finished the year with three goals, including two game-winning tallies.  Corniel started all 21 games for Fairfield on the year and finished with a team-best 25 points.  She touched net 10 times, with two game-winning goals, and had five assists on the year.  Decker anchored the Stags defensive unit, starting all 21 games at center back.

Senior Adrienne Boyer was voted to the All-MAAC Second Team, her first postseason honor since being selected to the All-MAAC Rookie Team.  Boyer tallied 15 points this season, scoring her fifth goal of the year in the MAAC Tournament quarterfinal on Friday morning.  Junior Nicole Cavallaro, who finished with a team-best eight assists, and sophomore Kelly Boudreau, were also selected to the All-MAAC Second Team.  Boudreau made 104 saves and posted six shutouts in goal, as she earned the accolade for the second time.  Cavallaro finished the year with 12 points, touching net twice in her 20 games.

Rachel Madasci was the lone Stags representative on the All-MAAC Rookie Team.  She played in all 21 games, starting 14 times, and finished the year fourth on the team with seven points.  She touched net three times and had one assist.

Fairfield also had seven players named to the All-MAAC Academic Team.  To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Senior Chrissie Sidie headlined the Stags academic team selections.  Also named to the team were senior Lisa Haylon, and sophomores: Allaway, Kaitlin Denis, Bri Miller, Brittany Putnam and Jackie Taylor.
