Stags Host Three Tournament During Fall Season

Four state schools will be part of the Fairfield University Fall softball schedule, which will include Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, New Haven, and Yale. The Stags will host three tournaments during the Fall campaign, beginning with the Stag Classic on September 22.

In that first tourney, Fairfield will host Quinnipiac and Stony Brook in a three-game event. The Stags take on Quinnipiac at 10:30 am, followed by the Bobcats taking on Stony Brook at 12:30 pm. The Stags and the Seawolves finish up the day at 2:30 pm

The next day, Fairfield will bring Sacred Heart and New Haven to campus for another three-game run. The Stags and the Lady Pioneers open the day at 10:30 am, while Sacred Heart and New Haven come back for a 12:30 pm match up. Fairfield will host the Chargers at 2:30 pm for the final game of the afternoon.

Fairfield takes to the road for its only travel date, playing in the St. John's tournament on September 29. Fairfield goes up against Sacred Heart at 1:30 pm, and battles the host school at 3:30 pm.

The season comes to an end on September 30 with Fairfield hosting Yale University and Adelphi University. The Stags and the Bulldogs open the tournament at 10:30, with Yale and Adelphi playing at 12:30 pm. Fairfield concludes the tourney at 2:30 pm with a contest against the Panthers.
