 Brenna Reed starts her second season as an assistant coach with the Stags. She graduated from Robert Morris University last spring, where she served as team captain during her senior season. She helped the team win the 2004 Northeast Conference regular-season and tournament title which carried an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament. Last year, Reed led the Colonials with 33 RBI, six home runs and finished fourth on the team with a .324 batting average. As a pitcher, she posted a 2.59 ERA and struck out 110 batters. Perhaps her greatest highlight of the 2008 campaign came when she pitched against the United States Olympic Team. As a student, Reed earned All-Academic honors all four years at Robert Morris. She earned her undergraudate degree in psychology with a sports management minor.
