FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Heavy rain has forced the postponed of today's action in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) softball tournament. Two games were slated for DeLuca Field in Stratford for this afternoon, but were moved to Saturday morning following the inclement weather.
Saturday's action begins at 10 am with Marist playing Rider at Alumni Softball Diamond on the campus of Fairfield University. Canisius will battle Fairfield in the second game of the doubleheader with the game time slated for 12:30 pm. Weather permitting, the tournament returns to DeLuca Field on Saturday evening. The winners of games one and two will play at 4 pm, while the losing teams will meet at 6:30 pm.
