STAMFORD, Conn. - The women's tennis team defeated Holy Cross, 5-1, on Saturday night to improve to 2-0 on the season.
At No. 1 singles, freshman Paulina Rys defeated Meg Moran, 6-2, 6-1 while sophomore Lauren Bonanno defeated Ivette Konopka, 6-1, 6-3. Freshman Dana Postupack downed Meredith Bacon, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
Sophomore Gabriela Davila picked up a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Megan Manahan at No. 5 singles while freshman Courtney Price downed Paige Brown, 6-3, 6-1.
The Crusaders lone win of the day came at No. 4 singles as Kristen Meahl edged Alexis Accomando, 6-3, 6-3.
