Gail Wilson has been an Athletics
Operations Assistant since April 1993 and a Fairfield University
employee since January 1989. Her primary responsibility is to
serve as the secretary to the Director of Athletics, while also
assisting the senior administration.
Wilson began her Fairfield career as an assistant to then Director
of Athletics Chappy Menninger, for four months, and two months as a
temporary receptionist in the development office. In July
1989 Wilson began a nearly four-year stint as the receptionist for
Mike Maccarone in the Finance department, before moving to the
Department of Athletics in April 1993.
Wilson resides in her hometown of Fairfield, Conn. She has
three grown children; Christopher, Garret and Allan, Jr.
Wilson has two grandchildren, Samantha and Noah.
