Biography

Before Fairfield: Murphy will try to break into the lineup as a midfielder this season, bringing a great deal of experience to the bench at that position. He enjoyed  success at Berkeley Prep in Florida. The program was one of the more successful programs during his stay. The team earned the runner-up trophy during his freshman and senior seasons. He was honored for his play in last year’s state final match with a player of the week honor. The team won 37 games over his final two years. He contributed five goals and three assists during those seasons. Murphy has not declared a major.
