Fairfield University Athletics

Howie Rosas ’14 is in his third season as a volunteer assistant coach for the men's and women's cross country teams.

Rosas spent four seasons with the Stags, serving as team captain during his junior and senior campaigns. He was one of Fairfield’s top-runners all four seasons, earning All-MAAC honors and helping the Stags to an IC4A University Championship by finishing as the runner-up in 2012. He also helped Fairfield to four consecutive Leeber Invitational Team Championships.

Off the course, Rosas served as the co-president of the Fairfield University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. He was also involved in Campus Ministry and received the Athletic Department’s William Wallin Award for service.

Rosas graduated from Fairfield in May 2014 with a degree in biology. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the University of Bridgeport.
