Men's Soccer Changes November 7 Game With Princeto

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University-Princeton University men's soccer team on Wednesday, November 7 has been changed from a night game to a 2 pm start due to the potential of inclement weather. Prior to the game, the team will honor the senior class which will play its final home game.

The Stags enter the final game of the season with a 7-8-1 overall record after posting a 2-1 win over Canisius College in their last outing. Fairfield has won three of its last five games, all coming against Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) opponents.

Reco McLaren leads the team in scoring with 15 points, scoring a team-best seven goals. The junior also has accounted for three of the Stags' game-winning goals this year. Jordan Ayris also reached double figures with 10 points, registering four goals and two assists in his 16 starts. Goalkeeper Michael O'Keeffe continues to rank among the conference and national leaders with a 1.09 goals against average and a .809 save percentage.

Princeton also won three of its last five games, including a 3-0 win over Penn in its last match, to improve its overall record to 7-6-2. Freshman Thomas Sanners is the team's top scorer in all four offensive categories with four goals, six assists, 14 points, and three game-winning goals. Julian Griggs is the other Princeton student-athlete with multiple game winners as both of his goals decided games. Goalkeepers Seth MacMillan and Max Gallin have each spent time on the pitch with MacMillan sporting a 0.85 goals against average and a .775 save percentage. Gallin owns a 1.40 goals against average with a .750 save percentage.
